The Flair bartending competition scene is on fire with more and more competitions popping up all over the globe shows us are sport has grown in popularity tremendously not only with bartenders and competitors but more importantly the general public, sponsors and the media as well.

With the names Delpech, Skyy Vodka, Finest Call, the FBA, Flairco, Flairbar.com and countless other names quickly becoming house hold names on the tip of the tongues of people ordering drinks at the bar. With all of us working together we are moving mountains of broken glass and molding it into glass sculptures of art.

There is definitely a buzz in the air about Flair bartending competitions. Everybody is hungry for more. Prepare to be fed… The next two big competitions in Florida are “Summer Flair 2″ September 24th – 26th in Palm Beach Gardens and “Quest” October 22nd – 25th in Orlando. Both promise to be a great time!

Speaking of or sport expanding even more globally and a great time… Jim Allison shows us “Flair in Germany” on our ‘Articles’ page. Can’t wait until next year!

 

 

Loukmas_Husted_chambordNext we go north to Canada where Mike McLean reviews the Pinnacle of Bartending Competition 2006 this month on our ‘Comp Reviews’ page. “The one competition that promotes the lifestyle of a hardcore Flair bartender as much as anything that happens on stage.”
