Have you ever wanted more time and more help in your...
The Accuracy Contest will test a Bartender’s skills in accuracy, speed and cleanliness. The bartender will free pour room temperature water from the correct bottles into the correct marked glasses to a plastic pour-check graduated cylinder to confirm accuracy.
Bartenders can rearrange the bottles in the speed well & glassware any way they want as long as the glassware starts/finishes on bartop and bottles start/finishes below the bartop.
Bartenders will start with their hands on the timer and time will start when they lift their hands and begin their round. Bartenders will then complete the round as accurately and quickly as possible without spilling. You will only be pouring the designated spirit portion of the cocktail into the appropriate marked glass with the correct spirit bottles filled with room temperature water.
You can pour the cocktails in any order.
Only 1 bottle of each brand is allowed for the round.
Once you complete all of the designated free pours with the correct spirit bottles, you will then stop the same timer you started with both hands to end your base time.
Then the Accuracy Round judge will add any spills that occurred during your round and add 1 second to your time.
Then the Bartender will pour the measured pours from the designated glass into the designated plastic pour check and the Accuracy Round Judge will measure your free pours from the plastic pour checks and add 1 second to every 1/8 of an oz of every one of your pours that are off.
The Accuracy Judge will add 30 seconds for every incorrect spirit poured into the wrong glass plus any deductions for spills and incorrect amount.
The Accuracy Judge will add 60 seconds for every missing cocktail or broken glass.
You may use any free-flowing pour spout you like for the spirit bottles except the Finest Call Triple Sec which has a pour spout built in that flows very similar to a Spill-Stop #285-50. We will have Spill-Stop #285-50 metal pour spouts available if you choose to use for the other bottles.
The Accuracy judge will then take your base time and add up all of the deductions to get your actual time. Your actual time will determine your score for this contest with the fastest times winning.
The Cocktails for the Accuracy Round are and will be labeled on the glass with the DRINK NAME…
