Things they are a changing, Lol. For better or worse… change is inevitable. Starting with us, in 2013 you are going to see some BIG changes with Flairbar.com and our upcoming issues. Some you may like and some you may not like as much but I’m pretty confident you will like them all as a whole.
This passion for Flair bartending goes way beyond just you and I, it will always be there continuing to grow and motivating others as it has done for us. Looking to the future… I’m smiling knowing somebody is smiling right now as they land their first back hand stall for the first time and feeling that energetic exhilaration that we did the first time we landed our first back hand stall.
Where we will be a few short years from now… who knows… but I’m looking forward to stealing a move or two from the new guys! Lol
Speaking of learning new moves, head on over to our ‘Masterclass’ page where Vahe Manoukian teaches us a 1 bottle and tin exhibition Flair sequence straight from his big win at the Kahunaville Flair Tropic all on our ‘Masterclass’ page.
Then moving on to the organizer of the Kahunaville Flair Tropic and one hell of a good guy… Luis Ortiz. Luis is not only an accomplished Flair bartender but he is part of the movement helping bring Flair back to Las Vegas… get to know all of that and more all on our ‘Interviews’ page entitled “Bringing Flair Back to Vegas!”.
Then you can read about another Flair competition that just took place in Reading, Pennsylvania… The 2nd Annual Legends All Star Throwdown. You can hear all about it on our ‘Comp Reviews‘ page by Ram Ong.
Next we welcome back former Flairbar.com cover star Danny Seigel as he shares his answer with us every time you hear inexperienced bar managers and owners giving excuses why they don’t care enough to bring their bar program to the next level… Check out “We Don’t have Time for that Here” all on our ‘Articles’ page. What are your thoughts on the subject?
After reading about the ongoing debate and nursing a hangover from New Years Eve… you can recreate the these libations from Danny Seigel to help you get to the next page in this issue of Flairbar.com all on our ‘Flavors’ page entitled “Hangover Helpers”. Your welcome!
Once you have created your own cocktails you can share that knowledge with others on our ‘Cut Off’ page formally written by Tobin Ellis of Barmagic.com. Tobin always had an edgy and informative style to his writing… we thought long and hard who could fill those shoes… and the result is… YOU! That’s right, we are turning over our popular ‘Cut Off’ page to you our loyal readers to give you a chance to sound off, share, inspire and motivate each other to greatness. So check out “Drinkdub” under our ‘Cut Off’ page and keep the conversation going…
“Drinkdub” is just one of the FREE features from Flairbar.com. You can also check out past “Flairbar.com Live!” re-broadcasts there as well. BIG THANKS to our sponsors for their continued support and giving us the tools and funding to give you our loyal readers, great content and fun new features.
For all of you other mixologists out there… Don’t forget to contribute to our content collector called ‘Cocktails’. This is where you can share your own Absolut Vodka and Finest Call cocktail recipes with the rest of the world and get credit for it. Have a great drink you invented? Want to share it with the rest of the world? Think it is worthy? Prove it!
Next check up on one of our most animated characters here at Flairbar.com “Flairing Freddy” on our ‘Flairmation’ page. See how Freddy is doing right after bartending from New Years Eve.
Check out the ‘Glossary’ page if your new to Flair and Mixology and your still learning the lingo. Be sure to keep an eye on it as we will continue to keep adding to this on going database of bartending knowledge.
Next we have a new ‘Reader Contest’ for our loyal Flairbar.com readers. Plus our regular features, more ‘Barware’, more pages, and more Flair than you can shake an Applebee’s commercial with Flair legend Christian Delpech at.
So take some time out and enjoy a cocktail with Absolut Vodka or 360 Vodka and Finest Call cocktail as you flip a Flairco bottle into a BarProducts tin and enjoy this months issue of Flairbar.com and say “Thank You” to the sponsors who keep our sport alive.
