Christian Delpech – “Carnival Court ” Las Vegas , Nevada

It’s hard to talk about Flair and not have this man’s name come up. Christian Delpech has established himself as one of the best Flair Bartenders in the world. If this man is not winning comps, he is practicing for them. As busy as this man’s schedule is we caught up with Christian for a little one on one.

Age? 26 years old.

How long have you’ve been Bartending? Since 1995, eight and a half years.

And Flair Bartending? Almost 8 years.

Where do you Work? I work at Carnival Court at Harrah’s Hotel Casino, and also for FLAIR DEVILS, both in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What got you into Flair Bartending? Like most of the Flair Bartenders at that time, the movie, Cocktail.

How did you start learning to Flair? I took a couple of moves and routines from that movie, and then I started to create my own moves, and at that time I couldn’t copy anybody’s moves because I didn’t even know any Flair Bartenders. So I had to come up with my own stuff.

Why do you Flair now? Because FLAIR is my life, is a Passion, is something that you don’t think when you do it, you just feel it.

What makes you stand out from other Flair Bartenders? I’ll answer that question after I’ve retired from competitions.

What do you hope to get out of Flair? Good experience, lot’s of friends and take the sport to another level.

What is your favorite Flair Bartending competition? Road House, Legends, and Harrah’s 2004 ( Innovation) promise to be the biggest ones ever.

Who do you look up to in this Sport? I look up to the people who support me in my performances and believe in what I do.

What is your favorite drink? I don’t have a Sponsor for this year yet so my favorite drink for now is: WATER ON ICE no lemon. “Be a Devil”
