Utlizing ‘AI’ Artificial Intelligence Software in the Hospitality Industry
Have you ever wanted more time and more help in your...
We all know that with the state of the economy we have all felt some ups and downs. In every industry including ours there has been an impact. As many of you know the former vodka sponsor of Flair bartending stepped down in 2009…
This at first seemed like a terrible thing, but then we realized this had left an opportunity for someone else to step up and take over where others had left off. As you will start to see, there have been new sponsors and familiar faces in the Flair community all helping to drive things forward for 2009 and the future. We here at Flairbar.com would like to officially welcome one of our new sponsors who have helped keep our dreams alive while helping us spread our gospel of Flair and Mixology… Absolut Vodka!
Yes, that classic vodka we all know and love is back on the scene with some new flavors and helping our sport of Flair bartending maintain a reality while pushing the boundaries of Mixology.
So again I would like to say Thank You to Absolut Vodka, Finest Call and everybody else who support all of us and our dreams.
Speaking of Finest Call, they single handedly brought back one our biggest and most prestigious Flair bartending competitions of the year from the ashes of despair, like a phoenix rising back up again… Legends XI was a reality. You can read the full story and more from James Sordahl on our ‘Comp Reviews’ page. Holy Danilo four Finest Call bottle juggle!
Winning the Legends XI Pour-Off and sharing the cover of this months issue Flairbar.com is Eduardo Gomez. He is an extremely nice gentleman and even better bartender… Check out “Legends Xi Pour-Off Champ Pours Out His Thoughts” featuring Eduardo Gomez all on our ‘Interviews’ page. Congrats again brother!
After getting to know more about Eduardo, you can get to learn more Flair compliments of Eduardo Gomez on our ‘Masterclass’ page where he is teaching a two tin and bottle sequence. I love the pour at the end. Check it out!
Then you can check out the second installment of “Applying the Art & Science of Molecular Mixology Part 2″ all on our ‘Articles’ page. Learn these celebrated techniques and the practical application of them behind a busy bar. Lions, Tigers, Flambe and Suspensions ohh my.
Then we head over to Paris, France with Laurent Greco from Bar Academy Paris as he shares with us his “Pepe Palette Progress” on our ‘Flavors’ page. Wine and Mixology… very nice!
For all of you other mixologists out there… Don’t forget to contribute to our content collector called ‘Cocktails’. This is where you can share your own Absolut Vodka and Finest Call cocktail recipes with the rest of the world and get credit for it. Have a great drink you invented? Want to share it with the rest of the world? Think it is worthy? Prove it!
Speaking of sharing with the rest of the world.. we have a frequent contributor to Flairbar.com Mr. Philip Duff as he shares with us “Flair Mania in Romania!” from abroad all on our ‘And Finally’ page. Can’t wait to see you in New Orleans my friend!
We are pleased to announce that the “Glossary” is back! It took some work but we blew off the dust and changed the batteries and it is up and running at full power. Be sure to keep an eye on it as we will continue to keep adding to this on going database of Flair bartending knowledge.
Next we have a new ‘Reader Contest’ for our loyal Flairbar.com readers. Plus our regular features, more ‘Barware’, more pages, and more Flair than you can shake a Absolut Mango Vodka bottle at.
So take some time out and enjoy a cocktail with Absolut Vodka and Finest Call, as you enjoy this months issue of Flairbar.com and say “Thank You” to this sponsors who keep our sport alive.
