Utlizing ‘AI’ Artificial Intelligence Software in the Hospitality Industry
Have you ever wanted more time and more help in your...
I hope everyone enjoyed some time away from the high energy, drink making, martini shaking, tip gripping lives for at least a little bit and relax those tired hands and feet.
Now its time to get back behind the wood and make those drinks great. Along with getting back to your daily routine of work, it’s also time to get back into your daily routine to practice.
There are several major Flair competitions coming up for the seasoned professional and new faces that want to make a name for themselves. Nations, Quest, BarWars VI, Roadhouse, Blue Blazer. To be a finalist in any of these competitions is a major achievement.
But the only way to get to the “Big Show” is to travel down that long road we call “Practice”. So wake up a couple of hours early, get behind your practice bar and put the hours in. It is amazing how much better you are at something after just two hours of practice. That’s what my girlfriend keeps telling me anyway.
While you are out there practicing, we thought we would give you some South African inspiration via London by Jay Du Toit on our ‘Masterclass’ page. Postage not included.
And since you are still out there practicing hard, we thought we would give tribute to the man and company behind all of our practice… Dean Serneels of Flairco. He talks to us about everything from the birth of the Original Flairco Bottle to the birth of his children. You can check it all out on our ‘Interviews’ page. Dean you are truly amazing.
Then head on over to our ‘Reviews’ page where, you guessed it, we review one of the best Flair practice tools next to the Flairco Practice Bottle… the Flairco Portable Bar. Check it out and see how it “unfolds”.
And then the Vice President of the USBG (United States Bartenders Guild) Nevada Chapter, Bobby G., is ‘In The Mix’ as he shares with us the history of Scotch whiskey. So put on your kilts grab a Skyy bottle and join in on the fun. Just remember to wear some underwear.
Every time I see this page I am still impressed. Laurent Greco (not related to Shawn Greco) creates two chill martinis from France on our ‘Flavors’ page. Flavoring the world one drink at a time. Viva La Flair!
Next we check in with our friends Ed and Paul as they celebrate thier one year anniversary as successful Flair bartenders turned successful bar owners. Check it out on our ‘Articles‘ page. Who knew bartenders knew so much about the bar business?
Don’t forget to check out the winner of our new and improved super duper ‘Reader Contest’ and be jealous of the slew of prizes they won!
All of this plus our regular features, ‘Cut Off’ by Toby Ellis, more ‘Upcoming comps’ more ‘Barware’, more pages, and more Flair than you can shake the Eiffel Tower at.
To Flair & Friends.
