One of the biggest treats this year was the long awaited return of the Flair bartending competition that started it all. Thanks to Jim Allison of the FBA and Ken Hall of High Spirits the Quest is back!
One of the longest running Flair bartending competitions to date. Quest brought some old school Flair bartenders back from the dead. For a rave from the grave check out our ‘And Finally’ page.
The competition was a huge success with more costumes than Halloween on the Las Vegas strip. The specialty rounds were a welcomed back tradition. Check out our full review.
If you want to fill your Halloween bag ring the doorbell on our ‘Masterclass’ and say “trick or treat”. Levi Donaldson gives us a treat with his trick.
Speaking of tricks, try interviewing somebody that doesn’t speak any english! Mitsuhiro Kaneshiro from team Japan showed us a trick or two with some Skyy bottles at Quest this year. Read the interview straight from Yokohama, Japan on our ‘Interviews’ page.
Another treat at Quest this year was the unveiling of Skyy’s latest flavored vodka Skyy Orange. You can see the full review of all the flavors on our ‘Reviews’ page.
With all these flavors you can come up with some great new drinks behind your bar. See the winning recipe and results from last month’s ‘Contest’ and start getting creative. Try mixing them with Finest Call mixers. Finest Call is our newest sponsor helping us spread our message further so please be sure to check out their page on our site.
Speaking of getting creative, returning this month is Paul Riebenack and Ed Hibbert with part two of ‘Life after Flair, Owning a Bar’ where they share some tricks of there own.
All of this plus our regular features, even more ‘Upcoming comps’ more ‘Barware’, and more Flair than you can shake a Skyy Orange 750ml bottle at.
