Play Juggle_1 Movie So you want to learn how to juggle 3 bottles…

Here’s a two part tutorial with the second installment next month.

First – Safety! Learn using Flairco Practice bottles. They will save you time and fingers.

This Tutorial assumes that you can already throw a bottle using a forehand grip from your left hand to your right hand with a double rotation and back again, as demonstrated in the video clip on your Left.

Juggle_gripBefore you can progress on to the next level you have to learn how to catch two bottles in one hand without them touching.

First hold a bottle using a forehand grip. Now point your top two fingers out like you are miming a gun. Now widen those two fingers to create a space in which to receive the neck of that 2nd bottle.

The picture on the Left shows the grip. This is how to catch a 2nd bottle in one hand and also how you throw a 2nd bottle from one hand.

This is going to take some time to get the hang of. Just be sure to concentrate on learning this technique on both hands as you are going to need them when you start to Juggle.

Play Juggle_2 Movie Once you have the hang of that tricky little tecnique try this exercise to practice it. Start with a bottle in each hand and then go back and forth using that grip to catch and then to throw. Click play on the video to your Left to see what I’m talking about.

This will give you a good start for a juggling foundation.

Next month, we will take it to the next level and show you the exercises that will take you full circle on your journey to mastering a three bottle juggle.

Happy Flipping!
