COMPETITOR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS WILL BE POSTED BELOW… (Please be patient with waiting on answers as Rob Husted is backpacking through South East Asia and will do his best to answer any questions during his trip when he can)

Q: “When will the full list of Sponsors be published?

A: Posted May 22nd, 2023.

Q: “One question about the sponsor commerical…. Can we pick just one along with the finest call or are we promoting all the spirits?

A: Yes, pick one along with Finest Call.

Q: “Hey, is it five minutes for every competitor regardless of pro or semi pro?

A: Yes, sir.

Q: “I do have a question about the competitors choice bottles if I use a non-competing spirit or Lacore and infuser, do I have to put it back into the original bottle or can I use that in competitors choice bottles?

A: If its store bought… then in original bottle… if it’s an infusion or homemade ingredient… your choice of original bottle or competitor choice for this comp. The sponsor spirits have to stay in original bottles and not altered.

Q: “Hi Rob! Just a quick question about rules. There are 2 hard liquors should be. Is it possible to use white and dark rum together or it should be different types of brands?

A: 2 different spirits… 2 from either
Yacht Life Vodka
Plantation Rum
Patron Tequila
Fundador Brandy

Q: I was just asking for our signature drinks if I was allowed to use fresh limes and squeeze them into my drink or do I have to use finest call lime juice.

I’m doing a remix on a margarita and was using the limes as an ingredient and was part of the process of building my drink but if nots allowed then finest call it is.. ?”

A: Yes, not fresh lime juice, but Finest Call Single Pressed Lime.

You could have a lime wedge as a garnish on top of your drink and squeeze, and drop it in.

Q: I think I only have one question basically:

Can competitor choice bottles, and anything going in the cocktails (including plantation and fundador), be set at any level?”

A: Competitor Choice, Gin, Finest Call and anything else not on the schematic can be set to any levels.

The only bottles of Yacht Life Vodka, Plantation Rum, Patron, Redemption and Fundador Brandy is set half full for working flair and have to start where they are displayed on the bar layout. No additional bottles of these can be brought on stage.

Q: “Will pour bottle for accuracy by a L or 750ml?”

A: 750ml. Same one as always.

Q: Can we put together any citrus blend for competitor choice if it includes fruits that finest call doesn’t make and spices?

A: For Competitor Choice yes.

Good luck to all of the competitors!
